Chef Pradeep was born in Sri Lanka and obtained his Diploma in Culinary Management at Claremont School of Hospitality in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He began his career at the 5 star property, Taj Samudra Hotel in Colombo, where he became the Pastry Chef at this beatiful and prestigious property.
Chef Pradeep has held Executive Pastry Chef positions in numerous world class resorts and restaurants, including the Sheraton Hotel in Dubai, UAE, the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto, Marcels By Robert Wiedamier - the Elegant French-Belgian Cuisine in Washington DC and The Atlantis - One and Only Ocean Club Resort in Nassau, Bahamas. He has had the opportunity to cater for numerous celebrities including Celine Dion, Pierce Brosnan and Salma Hayek... to name a few.
His talent and management skills have provided the opportunity to participate in numerous national and international events such as the Food Asia Singapore, the Cuilinary Oylmpics in Germany, and many culinary competitions in Toronto and Quebec. A distinguished competitor, Chef Pradeep is honored to have claimed many medals including the Gold with Excellence for pastry show piece at the Salon Culinaire, Colombo; 4 silver and one bronze medal at the Culinary Olympics in Germany, and numerous gold and silver medals at competitions across Canada.
When time permits, Pradeep enjoys participating in Continuing Education Programs at the Culinary Institute of America Hyde Park NY and the French Pastry School in Chicago and also keeps abreast of Sugar work from the well-known Chef Ewald Notter.
Currently working at Fallsview Casino Resort, his one dream is to create his own Pastry Shop, thereby serving the community using all his experience and creativity to make a memorable experience for his REDGANACHE Customers!
Before becoming a part of this great adventure, Chef Stanley worked his way through many aspects of culinary industry in various locations. He began his carreer in Sri Lanka, before moving to the United States, where he was member of the Top of the Falls Restaurant Team in Niagara Falls, New York.
Stanley's next move was to Canada to be a part of culinary teams at Fallsview Casino Resort and The Keg at the Embassy Suites.
Stanley has an extended knowledge of business and is adept at organization, an important element to the REDGANACHE operation: "our goal is to create a world class bake shop in our community and to provide the best customer experience".
Away from Work - Aside from REDGANACHE, Stanley is a devoted family man and loves to spend time with his wife and three children traveling.
